Overwhelmed by the outpouring of love
and support for Eddie and his family, the Carroll Family extends their most
heartfelt thank you and respect for the prayers, letters, emails and thoughts
expressed by so many lives that he touched over the years. Eddie passed
the morning of April 6, 2010, with family by his side.
Though this news
comes to so many so suddenly, it was also quite recent that Eddie and only the
very closest of family, friends and colleagues came to a very difficult
understanding. Eddie had experienced some problems with his balance just a short
while back. In the examination to determine the cause, a brain tumor was
discovered and indeed, a roller coaster ride followed. Yet Eddie faced this
challenge with the same dedication that he imposed upon himself with any
challenge that came his way. He continued to be amazing, as all of us who have
crossed paths with him know!
It is the Carroll's sincere hope that fans
who loved Eddie's work, realize that his goal was to overcome this obstacle and
once again take the stage with the passion he so treasured- making us all love,
laugh and LIVE!
The Carroll Family especially
want to thank Eddie & Carolyn's relatives and friends for their tremendous
love and unwavering support. And a special thank you to Eddie's wonderful
doctors, nurses and therapists...you are all HEROES!
